ON PROTECTION OF THE
ENDANGERED CALIFORNIA CONDOR |
|
|
Without endorsing any
methodology of saving the California Condor from extinction, the
Federation
of
Western Outdoor Clubs believes that the success of any plan is
dependent on considerable extension of the condor's habitat; its
protection from airplane and mining "booms"; stopping various
intrusions; and by a stepped-up public educational program. Also,
all mineral development should be prohibited in the Condor's home range. |
