Legislation to establish
Protection Island National Wildlife Refuge in Jefferson County,
Washington, No. HR 1486 and S 327, has passed the House of
Representatives and the Senate. This legislation is now required
to come back before the House due to a difference in language between
the two bills. The Federation of Western
Outdoor Clubs urges Congress to take the steps necessary for final
approval of the legislation and to submit the bill to President Reagan
for his signature at the earliest possible date. |
