AESTHETIC vs. DEVELOPMENT VALUES AT MESA FALLS, IDAHO | |
|
||
|
Mesa Falls on the Henry's
Fork of the Snake River in Eastern Idaho is a unique natural
phenomenon, and has economic and aesthetic value in its natural
state. The proposed hydroelectric development of this site would
severely damage these qualities without adequate compensation in energy
production. The Federation of Western
Outdoor Clubs recommends that hydroelectric development of Mesa Falls
should not be allowed. |
