NO. 12 | ADDITIONS TO THE THREE SISTERS WILDERNESS | |

The wild country in the
vicinity of Waldo Lake and also that in the Rainbow Falls area in
Oregon is an outstanding recreational, botanical, wildlife, watershed,
scientific, educational and scenic resource which is threatened by
timber sales. |

Therefore, the Federation
of Western
Outdoor Clubs recommends that Congress incorporate the Waldo Lake and
Rainbow Falls areas into the Three Sisters Wilderness to fully protect
them for this and future generations. |
