RESTORATION OF FUNDING
|
|
The policies of the
present administration have been to cut funding to almost all
government supported agencies. Due to the fact that a clean
environment is a necessity and that the agencies which administer
public lands, water, air and resources must be able to do their work
properly, it is necessary that they be adequately financed. |
Therefore be it resolved
that the Federation of Western
Outdoor Clubs requests that adequate funding be provided for resource
protection agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency, the
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Park Service, the U.S.
Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management. |
