A Bay Area Ridge Trail is
being planned for hikers, bikers and equestrians in the San Francisco
Bay Area. It would consist of a 350-mile loop, extend through 9
Bay Area counties (Plus Santa Cruz county), and include lateral trails
providing access to cities along its route. Much of the
access for this trail is already over public land. Buffer zones
would protect environmentally sensitive areas. |
