CALIFORNIA
RADIOACTIVE WASTE DUMP |
Environmentalists in the
world's industrialized nations have long pondered the problem of
nuclear waste and some undeveloped nations have accepted these wastes
as a means of lightening the burden of poverty. |
|
No such excuse can be used
to justify a proposal being considered by the State of California to
build a dump just off highway I-40 just inside the border. Waste
from 18 other States is destined for California's dump if approved by
State Authorities. |
|
The Federation of
Western
Outdoor Clubs is opposed to the proposed nuclear waste dump in southern
California. The Governor of the State should be so notified. |

Services, 714 P Street, Rm 616, Sacramento, CA 95814. |
