INCLUDE
MONTANA AND IDAHO FORESTS IN FOREST LEGISLATION |
| The forests of Montana and
Idaho are not included in much of the forest legislation. |
|
| There is great pressure to
exclude forests in Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon. |
|
| Senator Adams' SB 1536,
otherwise excellent bill, does not include Idaho and Montana forests. |
|
| The Federation of
Western
Outdoor Clubs recommends that the forests of Idaho and Montana be
included in the bill. The forests of Eastern Washington and
Eastern Oregon must be retained in Senator Adams' SB 1536 or other
similar legislation. |
