NATURE
CORRIDOR LEGISLATION |
The terms Greenways, open
space and linear parks can be included within nature corridors.
However, much of the United States is not green; golden brown may be
more accurate. The above mentioned terms may be described as
nature corridors. |
|
Nature corridors can be
used to link parks and forests, unfragmenting nature; create zones
allowing biological and ecological diversity; link parks in cities; and
create and preserve nature in and around cities. |
|
The Federation of
Western
Outdoor Clubs recommends legislation encouraging the creation of nature
corridors. |

Senators and Representatives and to State Governors. |
