#20: Utah Wilderness

| An additional 2.6 million
acres of land in Utah has been identified by the Bureau of Land
Management as having wilderness qualities. An environmental
impact statement is presently being prepared by the BLM concerning
these 2.6 million acres which will determine whether this additional
and will be designated as a wilderness study area (WSA). |

| ACTION: Write to the BLM
urging WSA status for these 2.6 million acres. Your letters
should be sent to: Bureau of Land Management-Utah State Office, WSA
Planning Project, P.O. Box 45155, Salt Lake City, Utah 84145. |
