#27: Healthy Estuaries

| Healthy estuaries are
among the most productive natural systems on Earth. Estuary
habitat has been degraded to the point where fisheries, recreation,
human health, and vital coastal economics are threatened.
Senate Bill 835 and House Resolution 1775, the Estuary Habitat
Restoration Partnership act, would fund and coordinate a national
effort
to restore America's estuaries. |

Outdoor Clubs endorses Senate Bill 835 and House of Representatives
Bill 1775 and urges the U.S. Congress to pass and fund this critical
legislation. |
