RESOLUTION OF THANKS
|

The Federation of Western
Outdoor Clubs hereby expresses its sincere thanks to:
|
1. The Washington
Alpine Club - for making its rustic Lodge at Snoqualmie Pass available
to the Federation for holding its 65th Annual Meeting, August 23 to 25,
1996.
|
|
2. To Paula Hoffman
- Who is retiring as FWOC State Vice President for Western Washington,
and for her years of service to the Federation as well as making the
necessary arrangements for use of the WAC Lodge, and for arranging for,
and helping Eloisa Vento and Diane Haley to provide the excellent food
service to the attendees at the 65th Annual Meeting.

3. To Hazel Wolf,
the FWOC's indefatigable Editor of OUTDOORS WEST and tireless battler
for the preservation of the environment, who arranged for and
coordinated the excellent program for the Meeting.

4. To the speakers,
all of whom served without remuneration.
|
|
5. To the
Resolutions Committee, consisting of outgoing (two terms) President
Marty Huebner, Hazel Wolf, Bob Haage, and chaired by Win Hayward
|
|
6. To all of the
other attendees at the 65th Annual Meeting who came from far and near
to represent their respective Member Clubs, and who all contributed
their wisdom, experience and love of the western outdoors to making the
Meeting a resounding success!
